Today we found out (after running background checks 3 months late) that one of our coaches is a registered sex offender - for sexual assault against a child.When employed I signed a contract stating that I wouldn’t share information about the organization. I am turning in my resignation tomorrow, however, I do not want my family registering their children with this negligent organization. Can I legally tell them about this situation, since a registered sex offender is public knowledge? Or would I be in breach of my contract?

If someone guilty after trying to solicit an underage minor (which happens to be undercover cops) and serves a sentence, then at the time of his release will he/she have to register as Sex Offender or Sexual Predator? Do both require to live far away from the presence of children (schools, playgrounds, churches) and will this affect their employment prospects with major companies?
