    HIV can be transmitted through oral sex any bodily fluid but from taking a sip from someones glass NO,HIV/AIDS is not contracted through saliva

    HIV/AIDS isn’t transmitted through saliva, but it is transmitted through blood and genital secretions. Your saliva has enzymes in it that are hostile to the virus, that’s why kissing someone with the virus won’t infect you, but fellatio can. So unless your buddy is using the cup or glass for obscene purposes, drinking from it won’t transmit the virus to you. Wikipedia has a very descriptive article on hiv/aids, so I would advise doing some of your own research instead of relying on the questionable knowledge of strangers on here.
