And a woman, during the dating phase is looking for a guy that is financially stable enough to pay for the dates, they may not admit it, but if they want to start a family, they want a guy that can financially support their family when they may be unable to do so for themselves (bedrest during pregnancy, breastfeeding limits work ability b/c they feed every 3 hours which by the way, is also no picnic either, and possibly wanting to be a stay at home mom to raise their kids with their beliefs and a good educational foundation)

When my husband and I dated, we were mostly in high school, I was from a rich town, he was from the ghetto, even he could pay for a dinner every now and then, it’s not that big of deal.

As for how they recipricate during the dating stage, they stay interested in you. They can give you back rubs and foot rubs. Depending on their age/ religious beliefs they may give you…more. They can cook dinner for you. They can do your laundry. I know I am a fairly traditional person when it comes to sex roles, but why fix what isn’t broken??? If you can’t think of anything your girlfriend does but use you, then maybe you should ask her to reciprocate or move on.
