No two penises are alike, so don't worry if yours doesn't match a textbook definition. In my clinical experience, I have seen penises that curve, up down, sideways, and ones that are as straight as a pencil. The only time to seek advise is when your penis begins to hurt in conjunction with an erection curvature, or if you suddenly notice your penis to be a different shape. Either can be a sign of a penile fracture, in which case you will need immediate medical attention. Some men curve up, some down, some go straight out. The part that can be aesthetically unpleasing is when it is straight to a point then curves awkwardly. Regardless, your penis will work fine.
