When a man urinates, he is usually holding his penis, and there is a chance of getting urine on the hands. Even if you don’t, you still touch the door, the toilet handle, etc. after people who might have urine (or worse) on thier hands. You should always wash your hands after using the restroom, or after touching anything that might be contaminated, and before eating.
This does not mean that there are germs on your penis…if you practice good hygiene and safe sex, you should have no germs on your penis that are not found on the rest of your skin.

I wondered that myself about men because they have to touch their penis when they urinate, and if they did not wash their hands before hand and used the restroom, whatever they had on their hands from the time they were out, opening doors, touching money, etc, up to the time they used the restroom, all that germs is now on your penis. I am sure, most people immune system can fight most of it off, but still.. I thought that myself.
